Fans are loving Lewis Capaldi's hilarious comeback after being accidentally called Sam at the BRITs.
The BRITs went down last Sunday with Mo Gilligan hosting it.
The award viewers were stunned and confused after the host made a blunder by introducing Lewis Capaldi as 'Sam Capaldi' on stage for his performance of 'Forget Me'.
"Here with his number one single Forget Me it's the brilliant - go crazy - Sam Capaldi" Mo announced.
After Lewis' performance, the comedian apologized for the mix-up.
"I have to apologise, I did call him Sam. It just goes to show how strong the drinks are at the brit awards, they are not playing around," Mo said.
"IM STILL CRACKING UP WILL THE REAL CAPALDI PLEASE STAND UP!" one viewer wrote on Twitter.
"Sam Capaldi I’m screaming" another wrote.
"Will we ever find out who sam capaldi is... #BRITs," a third wrote.
Taking it in good spirits, Lewis Capaldi posted a photo of his face photoshopped onto Sam Smith's talk-of-the-day 'inflatable balloon' outfit.
