How awesome is this!? A bunch of great Kiwis have got together to help popular Māori musician Pere Wihongi with his latest cover.
The cover is to celebrate Mahuru Māori and Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and is titled 'Mahuru'.
The waiata is of Earth, Wind & Fire's September, and instead of performing the song in English, he has completely made the waiata his own, relating it to our Māori kōrero.
Mahuru is the equivalent of September in Te Reo.
