Céline Dion is begging a fellow Candadian musician to NOT get her face tattooed on him while in a video interview with iHeartRadio Canada.
The musician, a rapper named Drake, admitted in 2017 that he wanted to get Céline's face on his left ribcage.
He even told it to her face while the pair met for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards.
“Please Drake, I love you very much,” Dion said, staring directly into the camera. “Can I tell you something? Don’t do that.”
“You can write me love letters, you can send me autographs for my kids, you can come and visit. I can have you home for lunch or dinner… we can go for a drink. We can sing together. Whatever you want to do. I can talk to your mother — whatever you want! But please…” she said in the video interview.
Apparently the main reason why Céline doesn't want her face on the rapper's body is because she doesn't believe it will age well.
“As time goes… as you go older,” she told Drake, who regularly gets tattooed. “You too, when the time comes… my face will go longer and it will go not prettier.”
“So please don’t tattoo,” she said. “If you do it, just do a fake one so you can change your mind.”
