Netflix has revealed that it will be introducing a brand new Elvis Presley inspired tv show to its streaming service, produced by Elvis' former wife Priscilla.
But there is quite the twist! This show is no biopic, similar to what we have seen in the likes of Bohemian Rhapsody or Rocketman, this Elvis inspired TV show is a cartoon depicting Elvis Presley as a James Bond type spy.
The show is called Agent King and will follow the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll as he lives out his day job as a famous singer before transforming into an undercover agent who tackles dark forces that threaten America at night.
Priscilla tweeted the news of the new show herself, writing: "Today is a very special day, we are helping to keep Elvis’ memory alive by fulfilling his childhood dream."
The tweet was accompanied by a video of the late singer where he is heard telling reporters "When I was a child ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books and I was the hero of the comic book. I saw movies and I was the hero in the movie."
This show is completely separate from the Elvis Presley biopic due in theatres in 2021.
