Last weekend parts of Auckland were badly affected by the rain and flooding.
Broadcast Engineer at Mediaworks, Kieran Connellan and his family, including new born baby and 5 year old son have lost almost everything.
They were left with only a few things after a small river flowed through their property and into their house, causing an evacuation.
