Put some Spring in your step with The Breeze Walking Festival 2016!

The Breeze Walking Festival is back for 2016 and it's bigger than ever before! With over 50 walks, there's something for everyone. From child-friendly strolls to a more energetic trek for the physically fit, we've catered for all interests and ages.

From Saturday 24 September to Sunday 9 October, walkers from Christchurch and beyond can experience the pleasure and benefits of walking around familiar haunts and hidden havens.

The walks take in areas within Christchurch City, the Port Hills, and parts of the Waimakariri and Selwyn districts, including coastlines, forests, ridgelines, river ways, wetlands, gardens and city streets.

The 16-day festival is a chance to discover new places, learn more about old hangouts, try fun activities and, above, all enjoy some fresh air, spring sunshine and good company.

Some of the walks require booking, so people are encouraged to get in early. To find out more about the walks and how to book, visit
