The Queens first appearance after illness

The Queen has recently been under the weather but has made her first appearance since in Edinburgh. The Queen has been incredibly busy in recent months and has attended many events with new Grand-daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle. Therefore it is no surprise she has become run down. A Buckingham palace representative made a statement on Thursday morning claiming The Queen,

Is feeling under the weather and has bowed out of a Thursday morning event at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Luckily on Thursday, the Queen's cousin was able to attend in her place. The Duke of Kent participated in a morning service to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, which is an event Angelina Jolie also attended.

The Queen has since been pictured at her first event since recovering from her summer cold. The event she attended was the Ceremony of the Keys event in Edinburgh which is a traditional event whereby Her Majesty offered the keys to Edinburgh under a military guard of honour.

She amazed the public, as usual, looking very regal in a bright yellow coat dress.

The Queen is set for a busy week as she attends the engagements of Holyrood Week. Which is commonly known as Royal Week in Scotland, and she will be visiting many regions of this area of the week. She will also be hosting thousands of guests at Holyrood Palace.
