Everyhouse hold has a different routine when it comes to washing sheets, but one thing we can all agree on is how hard it is to fold a fitted sheet!
If you've ever wondered how often you should be changing your sheets, a microbiologist from New York University has the answer.
He recommends changing your bed sheets at least once a week. Doing this, he says, will help stop bacteria from spreading and setting off alergies.
According to the expert, beds create an 'ideal fungal culture medium' that turns them into a 'botanical park' for bacteria and fungus - sounds pretty gross, right?
The study also showed that 28% of people changed their sheets once a week, 40% every 2 weeks and 24% will wash them once a month.
