This is a simple and tasty way to glaze your ham this Christmas. The glaze is always applied to a cooked ham.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 30-40 minutes
Serves: 12
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- Juice and zest of and Orange
- 2 Tbsp of Dijon
Method
Remove the rind, easing it away from the ham with your fingers (keep the rind because it is useful to replace over the partially-eaten ham to prevent it drying out after the party).
Score the fat and stud the diamonds with cloves
Smear skinned ham with half of the mixture
Put a splash or so of white wine in the pan to stop the ham stiicking to the baking dish.
Cook for about 40 minutes, basting with the rest of the glaze after 20 minutes.
It should look rich and shiny.
Enjoy with friends and family this Christmas!
