Nelson Railway
The Nelson Railway at Founders Park will have the Railcar running everyday these holidays between 11am and 4pm with the weather permitting.
Adult Rides are $6 
Children rides are $4 
Under 3 years free.

Moutere Artisans
Moutere Artisans invite you to Eat, Drink & View your way around 17 Artisan locations on Sunday the 27th of October from 11am - 4pm.
The doors are open and this is your chance to meet the producers, choose a unique piece of art, fill your pantry and wine rack.
The Moutere Artisans are a collective of creative and productive people in beautiful Upper Moutere & Neudorf Valley.

Live Poets
There will be three live poet events throughout October with guest poets from London and Auckland! The guest poets are Carrie Rudzinski & Olivia Hall.
The three events will be held at:
Nelson:  Prince Albert, Nile Street, 7pm Tuesday 15 October, koha entry
Motueka:  Armadillo’s, High Street, 7pm Wednesday 16 October, koha entry
Golden Bay:  The Mussel Inn, 7.30pm Friday 18 October $15 entry
It is open mic and all are welcome!

Tribe Nations MC Dice Run for Deanna
Come on down and support Deanna as she embarks on a life changing journey and helping to ease the burden for this amazing family together!
In conjunction with Filcos and all other sponsors and donators, Tribal Nations MC Te Tauihu and all the biker community will Help Deanna compete at the Murray Halberg Games and ongoing care and support for the whole family.
The event is being held on October 5th.

NZ China Friendship Society
NZ China Friendship Society has their cultural exchange with Nelson's second sister city in China, Yangjiang.
This is an amazing opportunity for 8 year 12 to 13 students to experience Chinese culture.

Kaikoura Adventure Race
The Kaikoura Adventure race is a joint fundraiser for Kaikoura High School and adventure race groups happening on the 26th-27th October 2019. 
A traditional team adventure race with 3, 6 & 12 hour course lengths on offer.  
Teams race together to overcome challenges using multiple disciplines including trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and navigating.

Tasman District Libraries: I Spy
I Spy is a reading challenge inviting young and old to take part in a fun, friendly competition taking place at Richmond, Motueka, Murchison, and Takaka libraries between the 2nd of September and the 31st of October.
Head into one of the libraries listed for more information.
Anyone who completes the challenge will receive a mystery lucky-dip reward when they hand their completed participation card to a library staff member.
