The season of giving is approaching, and The Breeze Manawatu along with Property Brokers and PAK'n SAVE Palmerston North want to help support local families in need this Christmas with the return of Stuff the Bus!
From Thursday 22nd November, the Tranzit bus will be out and about across the Manawatu region attending local events and collecting gifts and non-perishable food items to be donated to two amazing charities that support our community - Barnardos and Methodist Food Bank.

Monday 26th Nov - Manawatu & TRC Toyota 12-1:30pm
Sunday 2nd Dec - Palmerston North Christmas Parade 12-4pm
Tuesday 4th Dec - Magic of Christmas Markets 4:30-8:30pm
Wed 5th Dec - Pak N Save Christmas Club Day 3-6pm
Thurs 6th Dec - Central Primary Health Organisation 12-1:30pm
Fri 7th Dec - Christmas at Caccia Birch 5-7pm
Sat 8th Dec - Ashhurst Christmas Parade 9-11am
Sun 9th Dec - Feilding Christmas Parade/Carnival 10am-4pm
Sat 15th Dec - Christmas in the Square 4-6pm
If you can't make it to the bus, donations can be dropped off at either in-store bus at Property Brokers (240 Broadway Ave) or PAK'n SAVE (327 Ferguson Street).
What to Donate
If you need ideas on what to Stuff the Bus with, here's what our charities find most beneficial for families in the festive season:
Barnardos: Children's New/unused clothing, bedding and gifts
Wool, cotton or natural fibre bedding for infants (bassinet and cot sheets/blankets), nappies, 100% wool knitted goods, books (especially hard cover), toys, wooden puzzles, wooden blocks, games, outdoor activities (skipping ropes, balls, sport games, bikes etc), art activities (canvas, paints, blackboard/chalk, craft supplies, playdough etc) and vouchers (supermarket, movies, experience, petrol).
Methodist Foodbank: Non-Perishable Food Items
Gravies, instant puddings, jelly, treats for children (biscuits, lollipops etc), cans, pasta, rice, spreads/cereals.
