First pictures released of ‘baby Prince William’ in The Crown

So cute!

While most fans of Netflix’s The Crown have been devouring the latest season of the historical series, the cast and crew have been busy filming the next season - season 4 - to release next year.

The fourth season is said to chronical Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer’s relationship - everything from their marriage, to the birth of their babies.

While we have seen the actress playing the late Princess Di, we haven’t had a glimpse of who will be playing baby Prince William - until now.

Photos show Emma Corrin as Lady Diana filming a scene in which the young princess is boarding a plane for her and Charles' royal tour of Australia and New Zealand in March 1983. Behind her, a nanny can be seen carrying a baby Prince William, born in 1982.

In another shot, Diana can be seen disembarking the plane in Australian, met by a fanfare of media.

The six-week trip was the then-22-year-old Princess Diana's first royal tour. It was also Prince William's first, after his mother reportedly refused to leave him behind.

Her move set a new royal precedent for young royals to accompany their parents on royal tours, and it is now the norm with Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle regularly taking their little ones with them.
