Ali gets taught how to plate food to serve at a restaurant

Last week Ali took a trip to SkyCity to meet 19 year old apprentice chef, Sam Heaven, the NSSCC winner for 2016.

Sam showed Ali how to perfectly plate food to serve at a restaurant and he had a little surprise to put his own unique touch on the dish.

He used a dessert he had prepared in advance and whipped up a stunning plate that looked far too good to eat!
