Who knew that lollipops could be sophisticated and classy? These one's sure are!
Take a look at the video to see how easy they are to make.
80g Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
1 tsp Poppy Seeds
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
Preheat heat the oven to 220C,line two large baking trays with baking paper
Mix cheese and seeds together in a small bowl. Sit a cookie cutter on one of the baking trays and sprinkle a small handful of the cheese mixture into it, in a thin layer. Carefully lift the ring off to reveal a neat-edged disc of parmesan and lay a stick (i use wooden squewers broken in half )on top, with the tip of the stick touching the middle of the circle of cheesy mix.
Repeat with the remaining cheese and sticks
Use rest of cheesy mix to cover up the part of the stick resting on the circle of cheese
Bake in the oven for five minutes,. The cheese should be lightly golden-brown and bubbling.
Remove from the oven . Leave to cool for 1–2 minutes, or until the lollipops have become crisp. Very carefully remove each one I like to serve these stuck upright in glass or similar.
