Happy Birthday to Princess Charlotte!
The only daughter of royals William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, was celebrated on Instagram with a cheeky new portrait on the eve of her eighth birthday.
Her mum, Kate, snapped the photo of her daughter at Windsor and shows the third in line to the throne sitting on a white rattan chair with a big smile on her face. She looked adorable wearing her white ruffled blouse with tiny pink and blue flowers.
It's been a few weeks of celebration for Wills and Kate. The couple recently posted a photo of their youngest son Louis for his fifth birthday on April 23rd, and posted a photo of themselves as a mark to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary six days later.
The photos broke their usual family tradition of sharing portraits taken by Kate, who has always been a keen photographer and shares her family photos on family milestones.
Their kids will continue having an eventful week, with Princess Charlotte and her siblings, George and Louis, all set to take part in the King's coronation procession from Westminster Abbey on May 6.
Prince George, who is nine years old, will have a specific role in his grandfather's big day as a page of honour during King Charles III's coronation.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson told ET Online, "We’re all very excited about Prince George’s role in the coronation. It will be an incredibly special moment."
