The jaw-dropping amount Sir David Attenborough earns per minute for a TV show

Yes, you read that right - per minute, not per hour!

Sir David Attenborough's salary has been revealed for his TV projects.

According to The Sun, Sir David has been earning NZ$ 6,643.36 ( £3,342) every minute, (yup not per hour) for appearing in his last four TV shows.

The four shows that David did over the year are, "Attenborough and the Mammoth Graveyard", "Dinosaurs: The Final Day", "Attenborough's Wonder of Song for the BBC", and" Global Adventure for Sky".

Just a year ago in April, Sir David was named 'Champion of the Earth' by the UN for his dedication and lifelong environmental work.

"Sir David Attenborough" has been awarded the United Nations #Earth ChampsLifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to research, documentation, & advocacy for the protection of nature & its restoration,"  UNEP wrote.

Sir David explained that the environmental success stories should bring hope to us that change is possible.

"Fifty years ago, whales were on the very edge of extinction worldwide,’ he said."

"Then people got together and now there are more whales in the sea than any living human being has ever seen."
