Broadcaster Jason Gunn suffers heart attack
Broadcaster Jason Gunn is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack.
Gunn was at the gym on Tuesday morning when the minor heart attack occured.
He was notably absent from his More FM show later that day.
Gunn's co-host Lana Seale visited him in hospital on Tuesday night, where Gunn asked to record a conversation so that he could let listeners know what had happened in his own words.
You can listen to that conversation in the video above. He said it has been a frightening experience.
"Thought I was quite healthy, and I looked after myself. It's a lesson for all of us that you never take your health for granted. "When I went into get an operation, isn't it amazing that all your troubles just disappear?" he said.
"All I could think of were my kids and Janine and family. That's just the biggest injection of what's important."
The broadcaster has had a stent put in and is recovering in hospital.
The family awaits more test results on Wednesday morning.
He is expected to make a full recovery, and is hoping to be back home later today or tomorrow.
Gunn is no stranger to hospital - about this time last year, he broke his back falling from a wheelie bin.
He'd been standing on top in order to squash the last bit in.
