Dead or Alive front man, Pete Burns dies at 57

Popular singer Pete Burns, who founded 80's pop group, Dead or Alive has died of cardiac arrest at 57.

Burns is most well known for Dead or Alive and their hit song 'You Spin Me Round'. He was also in Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, where he came fifth.

His partner Michael Simpson, ex-wife Lynne Corlett and his manager Steve Coy have released a statement saying: "All of his family and friends are devasted by the loss of our special star. He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul and will be missed by all those who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories he has left us with.”

Burns' latest single 'Never Marry an Icon' was released in 2010.
