Wellington Jazz Club

Wellington Jazz Club presents Rodger Fox's Wellington Jazz Orchestra live concert Sunday 12th September. 23 of the Capital's finest jazz talent, performing an exciting programme of big band jazz. Join us for a feast of music and song! 5.00pm to 7.15pm  at Chicago Sports Cafe, Queens Wharf. Meals and drinks may be purchased during the gig
Public welcome $15, WJC members $12, students $5 with ID.



Khandallah Croquet

The Khandallah Croquet Club Open Day is Sunday 26th September, from 1 – 4 pm, at 18 Woodmancote  Road, Khandallah.

SHABOOTI

A new fun dance class that is being launched in Petone. Learn some dance moves, have fun, with exercise a by-product. You don’t need a partner, just come along and join in.

A range of other future sessions are also planned, including intense, advanced and classes for children. You also don’t need to be super-fit.

FREE introductory sessions at the community hall cnr of Nelson and Udy Streets, Petone.

Tuesday 14th September at 9.30am, Wednesday 15th at 6.30pm and on Thursday 16th at 1.00pm.

Market Day & Car Boot Sale

The Eastern Suburbs and Island Bay Lions are holding a Market Day and Car Boot Sale at Rongotai College on Saturday 2 October from 9am to 5pm.

Lions are collecting suitable household items and booking car boot sites to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House new building and local community projects.  All goods will be collected on Saturday or Sunday.
