Trish Beaven wrote to us about her Alan partner – who was having a birthday. She describes him as great partner kind & caring. She’s not working at the moment so he is the sole breadwinner - she wanted to treat him for his birthday - and Flight Experience.co.nz came to the party!

Donna Hutton wrote about her very good friend Joy Jenkin, who has been a rock to her over the past 5 years. She lost her 5 year old daughter to meningitis and since then has lost 2 nieces and just recently her sister to cancer.
Joy has been there every step of the way, helping her through a very tough time. She is a fantastic friend.
Joy is off to Oz for a well deserved holiday and a wedding soon and a couple of years ago her front tooth had to be removed because of an abscess.
Donna's wish for Joy was for to have some dental work…and thanks to John and the team at MIGHTY MOUTH DENTAL…Joy’s smile has been restored. Here are the before and after photos. And listen to the audio here.

Jenni Douglas of Massey High School wrote to us about co–worker Lizzie Hurst
Lizzie came to the school in 1986, where she was receptionist until Term 1 last year, when her health began to fail. She is now “Aunty” in the schools Fale Fono – one of their student supports facilities.
Recently her parking place has been moved, making getting from her car, into work very tricky. Jenni's wish for Lizzie was a wheelchair or mobility scooter – and Auckbritt came to the rescue with a very flash “Strider Micro 3S". Listen to the audio here.

We received a letter from Canteen, a charity who support young people living with cancer. They do an amazing job despite receiving no government funding. Check out their website: http://www.canteen.org.nz
The letter was about a 16 year old girl called Charlotte Crick Friesen. Take a listen to the audio here.
A big thanks to Gareth Moore at the Auckland School of Rock for helping out with free, one on one lessons for Charlotte. http://www.aucklandrock.co.nz/
And to MusicWorks for hearing about Charlotte and donating an acoustic guitar! http://www.musicworks.co.nz
