Momento and The Breeze were giving you an opportunity to upload photos and tell us what type of book you would like to get turned into a Momento book and why?
Five lucky listeners got chosen and are now having their books made thanks to Momento.
Congratulations to the following winners:
Monday 21st September:
Congratulations to Emma Ritson our first winner with Momento. Here is why Emma said she wanted to have her treasured photo's turned into a Momento book..."I would like to have some priceless pictures of my youngest son that I have captured on camera turned into a Momento book. I would love to have these pictures treasured in a book so I will never forget them. Being a single mum of two I could not afford a video camcorder to capture the other timeless moments like crawling, talking, walking, dancing etc and due to a tight budget I have not yet managed to get these pictures printed out. There was one occasion where my 2 year old came to me at 8.00am in the morning on a cold July morning and told me he wanted to play in the sandpit. I was just getting dressed for the day, so I told him he could only go out and play so long as he put his hat and boots on. Shortly afterwards I went to check on him, only to find him outside playing by the sandpit wearing nothing but his hat and boots. He smiled innocently and kept playing! Priceless!"
Tuesday 22nd September:
Congratulations to Lisa Buswell Tuesday's Momento winner. Here is why Lisa said she wanted to have her treasured photo's turned into a Momento book..."I'd love to have a Momento book made filed with photos of our 4 children. We haven't ever had baby albums and now we have 4 young children I simply don't get the chance to sit down and put anything together! All our photos are on disc and it will cost A LOT of money to print them all off so cost is also a big issue. It's such a pain when you're looking for a particular photo to show someone and I have to go through about 10 discs to find the right one!"
Wednesday 23rd September:
Congratulations to Caryn Hayes, Wednesdays Momento winner. Here is why Caryn said she wanted to have her treasured photo's turned into a Momento book..."I would love to turn my recent wedding pictures in to a lovely book to send to my family. Unfortunately none of our family or friends were able to come to our wedding from the UK (where we are originally from) because of the recession, they simply couldn't afford it and we couldn't afford to go back there. We had a beautiful wedding in rarotonga, just the two of us and we managed to get some lovely pictures but due to my new Husband just out of university our money is very tight and so the pictures are on hold at the moment until we can afford to put something together! I would love to surprise them and send them a Momento book of our special day! Thanks, Caryn"
Thursday 24th September:
Congratulations to David Te Paa, Thursdays Momento winner. Here is why David said he wanted to have his treasured photo's turned into a Momento book..."We have always wanted a family portrait but never got around to doing one until a few years ago when our adopted daughter was about two. When we got the pictures back, my older daughter said, we never got the portrait done before because our family wasn't complete until now, so this picture is the one I'd grab if our house caught fire. I would fill the Momento book with family photos."
Friday 25th September:
Congratulations to Chris Thompson, Friday's Momento winner. Here is why Chris said he wanted to have his treasured photo's turned into a Momento book..."Last November I took my Thai partner back to Thailand. I asked her to take me to a place that was special to her. She took me to a Temple up in the hills of Chang Mai. 200 steps later we made it to the temple. I found a quiet spot and proposed. I was quite sick that day but wanted to ask then as we were meeting her family the next day. The album would be for the memories of that trip that are still stored in my camera. We marry next year You mentioned what photo would you save in a fire. I have a copy of the attached (hopefully!)photo hanging on my wall. I was around 3 washing my Dads car. It reminds me of the great childhood I had and the story my mum tells about how the first word I ever spoke was car and I grew up loving cars. I now have a classic car."
