Hugh Jackman receives sixth treatment for skin cancer
Aussie actor Hugh Jackman has shared an image from his sixth treatment for skin cancer.
Actor Hugh Jackman has warned fans of the dangers of unprotected sun exposure after going through his sixth treatment to remove another basal cell carcinoma - a mild form of skin cancer.
Posting the photo to Instagram, he wrote "Another basal cell carcinoma.
Thanks to frequent body checks and amazing doctors, all is well. Looks worse with dressing on than off. I swear!"
The 48-year-old actor had his first skin cancer removed from his nose in 2013, when his wife Deborra-Lee Furness told him to go to the doctors to get a mole checked.
"Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right!," the actor first wrote back in 2013.
"Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!"
This is now the sixth time the father-of-two has had the cancer removed following his last operation in February 2016.
