Hope For Haiti

Hope For Haiti

School Holidays can be difficult for parents and families: spending so much time in each others company and having to deal with energetic and sometimes demanding children on a day to day basis can really push the stress buttons.

But before you get too worked up or frustrated with busy family life, take a moment to think what it would be like without them there…it doesn’t bear thinking about does it?

But that is what the people of Haiti are going through right now: they have lost everything…parents, siblings, children, homes, possessions, friends, villages. For a country that was struggling to begin with, these earthquakes have rocked it to the core. Their situation and struggle is hardly imaginable, but if we all take one minute just to put ourselves in that position, it might just help Haiti recover.

Because if we put ourselves in their position then we will understand just how vital help and aid are to the desperate people.

The Haitian people are still singing together and are still holding on to every ounce of hope that they have left. So it’s time to show them that their faith and hope will be answered by donating to the Hope For Haiti Now Fund or your favourite charity.

Our government and countries around the world have been donating to the stricken country but every cent helps so even $5 will help desperate families and children in need. Do your bit, click here for a list of charities and organisations you can donate to.

There are now hundreds of thousands of people and children homeless and helpless so please reach out to them and offer what help you can. It’s time to pull together and help get the Haitian people back on their feet.
