Easy Shortbread
EASY SHORTBREAD
300g butter
1 cup icing sugar
3 cups flour
METHOD
Cream the butter and icing sugar well.
Add flour.
Form a ball - roll out into desired shape and cut into 1 cm slices.
I prefer to form a sausage and then slice the pieces with a sharp knife.
Place on a lightly greased tray and bake 180degC for 20 mins or until a little golden - you need the colour.
Store in airtight jar and if you want soemthing different - add some craisins or currants or ginger or cocoa to the mix for delicious results - just not all at one time - individually is good !!!
